All of the islands breathtaking beaches are just a short drive away. We offer modest accommodations at reasonable rates, the perfect option for your Vieques vacation. Additionally, we welcome one-night stays for those who come to see the magical bioluminescent bay. Of course we invite you to stay a few more nights since you will find that there is much to see on our island. The Tropical Guest House can easily accommodate up to 50 people, so you can bring your entire group here without breaking your wallet. At the Tropical Guest House, we pride in friendly hospitality. Guest Rooms at Tropical Guest HouseGuest rooms at the Tropical Guest House are simple, your basic essentials in a clean and comfortable setting. All rooms at the guest house have private bathrooms, air conditioning , and television. Linens and bath towels are provided. Many of our single and double rooms have views of the garden and historical fort in the distance.
Each of our 4 studios have a small refrigerator and kitchen sink with counter space to prepare quick meals. We provide plates, mugs, and utensils for your comfort. The largest of the four units also has a stove for cooking. The studios can accommodate families of 4-6 people comfortably. They each have garden views and access to our patio, where guests enjoy relaxing with friends and family, reading a book, or watching our wonderful Vieques sunsets.

Dining at Tropical Guest HouseDining in Isabel Segunda is plentiful and all within walking distance from the guest house. Just steps away is Richard’s Café, where you will find tasty local food. For delicious Mexican style delicacies, go to Cantina La Reina. Get your gourmet coffee and other treats at Roy’s. And a great choice for both breakfast and lunch is the Panaderia Viequense. Make sure to also check out Coconuts, Conuco, and Mr. Sushi. On-site Entertainment & Nearby AttractionsAll of Isla Nena's spectacular beaches, the bioluminescent bay and the town of Esperanza are 10 minutes away by car. We highly recommend renting a vehicle in order to maximize your Vieques experience.
Be sure not to miss any of Isabel Segunda’s beautiful sites, which are just walking distance from us. You can start at El Fortin, the last fort built by the Spanish colonists. The fort houses a small museum and art gallery. Here you will also enjoy one of the most picturesque views of the island. From the fort, walk down to our newly restored Plaza, or town square. Grab a quick lunch here and catch a glimpse of the local culture. After lunch walk towards the harbor and follow the azure waters to El Faro, or Punta Mulas lighthouse.Staying in Isabel Segunda is very convenient. If you take a leisurely walk through town, you will find everything you may need for your beach vacation, from snorkel and scuba gear to bike and scooter rentals.
