Review of your experience: Staying in a cute little room at the Tradewinds was the exact 'Jimmy Buffett' experience we were looking for.
We loved the convenience of being on the west end of the malecon, from which we walked to all the cool stores(although Tradewinds gift shop is where we ended up buying all our tee shirts!) and bars.
We watched the sunset every night, and even got to see the elusive 'green flash'(that or it was that 2nd Twipp! Tradewinds rum punch!).
We snorkeled right out front of Tradewinds, where there is some beautiful coral and all kinds of fish. We walked down to the most beautiful stretch of beach in the Caribbean- Sunbay- where wild horses roam and everything just looks like a postcard.
The food at Tradewinds is amazing, and after a few trys at other places, we ended up eating every lunch and dinner there. The lobster salad and reuben(great french fries too!) were our favorite lunch dishes. We usually picked from the special board at night, and got meals that would be considered outstanding anywhere.
The staff was great, and the owners are very friendly and hard working- everyone did a great job of making us feel welcome. The overall experience was perfect. Highly recommended!
I had the best time!!!

Review of your experience: We stayed for 5 days and the room was comfortable,
the staff was fabulous. We felt like family or old friends from the minute we arrived. The people we encountered were helpful and nice. Tradewinds restaurant and staff is A- one in my book. The lady in the gift shop even arranged our biobay tour for us and had them pick us up in front of the guesthouse. I didn't want to leave at the end of my stay..
