Relaxing Holiday

My husband and I and another couple stayed at Casa Flamboyan for a week. We were met at the ferry by their "Meet and Greet" person and she did a good job letting us know where to find restaurants, beaches and grocery stores. Everything we needed was at the house, it was very clean and we were very comfortable. We did some of our own cooking and the kitchen had what we needed. We enjoyed eating and sitting on the verandah in the mornings and evenings. The house is not on the water, but you can get to town and the nearest beach with a 15 minute walk. You will need a vehicle as the best beaches are on the other side of the island, but it is only a short drive away. Vieques Island is a beautiful place and we were amazed by the variety of beaches, good snorkeling and the beauty of the island. This is not the place for you if you like a party scene and busy night life but if you like exceptional beaches with few people, clear warm water for swimming, good restaurants,staying in a house in a community rather than a resort, then this is the place for you. I would recommend Casa Flamboyan to friends for a relaxing holiday.
