One Day Vieques Travel Guide

We have received many inquiries from readers that only have one day to visit Isla de Vieques. It is really an impossible task to see the best of this little island in one day, but we have put together this mini travel guide so you can make the best of your one day visit to La Isla Nena

We would never recommend visiting Vieques for one day, we've been visiting Vieques for years now and every time we leave, we only wish we had more time on the island. But..... if you only have one day to visit Vieques, then come over. The worse than can happen is that you won't want to leave and you'll end up coming back.

Following is a one day travel guide that includes friendly tour guides, accommodations that welcome one night stays (there's only a few), getting to and around Vieques and a one day Vieques Beach Guide.


A Must See in Isla de Vieques during your 1 Night stay

- Bioluminescent Bay (new window will open) - If it was up to my 7 year old son, we would do the Bioluminescent Bay every night during our stay, it is "like magic" as our son would say. Once you found a place to stay in Vieques, book a Bio Bay Tour.

Nestor and his staff are locals, very friendly guys offering kayak tours of the Bioluminescent Bay, historic sites and snorkeling tours. My husband and son went on a snorkeling tour and they had a blast. Click here to contact them.

Island Adventures offer tours of Bioluminescent Bay on an electric boat, they are very friendly, knowledgeable and they offer an educational lecture before the tour. They also go over the constellations during the tour. You will have the opportunity to jump in the water, very, very fun.
