Review of your experience: We had the most relaxing time at your villa - we honestly never wanted to leave and go anywhere else! The tree path leading to the beach, the pool, the sounds of the waves, the comfort of the rooms, it was absolutely lovely and thank you so much for letting us stay at your home.

Here are a couple images of our kids - I guess a picture is worth a thousand words - their smiles, laughter and memories of the "sand castle city" are priceless. Thank you again for your generosity.

Review of your experience: Martineau Belle Playa was an absolute delightful experience. An incredibly beautiful house with an exquisite background of the pool and semi-private beach with the calming melody of the ocean and breeze made this vacation experience Heaven on Earth. Service was great, and personal cheff Drew was incredible. We are definitely coming back.

Review of your experience: We had been to Vieques  before but stayed at the adjoining resort..no rooms avail so decided on the villa.  It is something out of architectural design...beautiful, yet, we felt comfortable taking our 3 children...they loved it.  The island is so manageable and the owners of the villa were so helpful...we will go back!

The villa and service were extraordinary.

The villa and service were extraordinary. It's a glorious spot and the house was impeccable. I've rented villas before in Provence, Tuscany and Mallorca and didn't expect to find such high standards in Vieques. Which means I was thrilled to see such a beautiful home! It made me proud to be a native of Puerto Rico and be able to show such a beautiful place to my my family from the UK.

Gina was terrific - she managed everything with a wonderful demeanor and helped us even at times when I thought everything would be a complete disaster.

Review of your experience: La verdad es que la pasamos muy bien en la villa y en vieques. la casa y la playa estuvieron excelente. Gina was very attentive to all of our needs. Ya estamos recomendandole la villa a otras amistades por aca, y los Burn's estan pensando regresar tambien.

Review of your experience: Los felicito! El fin de semana pudimos comprobar el cambio que ha dado su villa al tenerla atendida con el personal que tienes destacado alli. Nosotros que hemos vivido desde que empezaron la construccion, la visitamos luego y finalmente ahora, te podemos decir que se nota el cambio y no solo si se toma aisladamente sino que lo pudimos comprar porque teniamos dos contiguas.

Cuando una persona se va de vacaciones NO IMPORTA LA TEMPORADA. El hecho de que fuese la Semana Santa para aquellos que somos Catolicos puede tener un sentido

Mayor que por ejemplo un protestante o un judio. El servicio no se debe ver afectado, o por lo menos cada vez que hemos viajado no se percibe si en el lugar haya algun dia que no te atiendan por ser festivo. En tu caso, aquello operoro como si fuese algo normal. Diariamente vinieron a vernos y preguntar si todo estaba bien. Nos consiguieron lo que necesitabamos incluso para la villa de Cacho.

De seguir brindando este tipo de servicio, les auguro mucho exito a ti y a tu grupo.

It was truly luxurious, with an unbeatable location on the beach.

Review of your experience: We had a wonderful visit, and loved the island.  What really made the trip special, however, was the house.  It was truly luxurious, with an unbeatable location on the beach.  Vieques is really a unique destination, in many ways the "best of all worlds" having both a rural Caribbean feel, with the civilized amenities of fine dining, great unspoiled beaches and a friendly "American" atmosphere. We are already thinking about our return visit next year.  There were a
couple of minor "bugs" with the new house, which I am sure Rene and Gina will work out shortly, but overall no major problems.

Review of your experience: Villa number 8 owned by Mr. René Acosta is truly exceptional and luxurious, combined with its swimming pool overlooking the ocean, and beachfront access to one of the most beautiful and exclusive beaches in the world. The hotel provides all support such as dining. Outside the hotel, we had dinner at Cafe Media Luna, which offers splendid gourmet cooking as well as food suitable for children. We went to Media Luna beach, which was a wonderful experience. We visited the bioluminescent bay which is among the remaining few in the world, and it was spectacular. All transportation was readily available. The plane took us from San Juan to Vieques in less than 20 minutes. The rental car store is 5 minutes from the airport, and after picking up the car you immediately come into the resort. The residents of Vieques are great as well! Thank you.

Review of your experience: Our family decided to take some time out from our hectic schedules. The villa offers enough space for everyone to be comfortable. Spacious rooms with a wonderful view of the ocean from every window, large bathrooms and enough living space to accommodate the seven of us. We had stayed at the hotel before and found it too restricting as far as comfort ability.

Staying at the villa offers the chance to Basque in the sun by the pool or at the beach in privacy. We definitely recommend a vacation at this magnificent home. We returned home with high energy having re-charged batteries with the hope that we could soon return to that little bit of paradise. Thank you.

Review of your experience: We just got back from an absolute dream vacation on Vieques at the Martineau Belle Playa. The ocean view from the house is spectacular and the house was beautiful. It was light and airy and elegantly decorated.

Our maids were lovely and the owners were wonderful. We came with our 3 children, 2 grandparents and 1 niece and everyone had comfortable accommodations. If you ever want to experience Paradise, this is the place!

Our stay in Martineau Belle Playa was outstanding!

We spent the holy week in the house and it was great. The beach was ours, and the facilities were just perfect. one night we cooked out and stayed late listening to the ocean under the moon light.

We recommend Martineau Belle Playa to everybody, for a weekend gateway or to spend the entire vacations.
