One part funky summer camp, one part homey wilderness lodge.Our towels don't match. The rooms have no phone or television. La Finca is for people who like to go barefoot and take showers outdoors. We like it simple. All of our rooms have fans, mosquito nets, cotton sheets and a good reading lamp. After a day of diving, snorkeling, or exploring Vieques' truly world class beaches, our guests can hang out at the pool and meet fellow travelers from around the world, or sneak off to doze in one of the hammocks serenaded by the tropical frogs.
It's the relaxed and offbeat atmosphere of La Finca that keeps our guests coming back year after year. In addition to the pool, La Finca offers volleyball, horseshoes, croquet, limitless walks in the hills, and a great place for biking and running. We can also help you arrange diving and sailing charters, on-site massage, sea kayaking, tours of Vieques' outstanding bioluminescent bay, mountain biking orday trips to the rain forests of Puerto Rico.Our finca has one large 6 bedroom house and two cottages, which all together can sleep uo to 27. We rent the entire finca, or individual rooms and cottages, to friends and travelers from around the world.
Guest Rooms at La Finca Caribe
Our guesthouse offers large groups and families the whole rustic villa with six bedrooms, each with one or two queen-sized beds and a twin loft. In the guesthouse there's a large dining and living area and complete kitchen, all open onto the tradewinds and great views.The guesthouse has two shared bathrooms, upstairs and down, with our beautiful outside hot water showers and an additional bathroom down the walkway. The lobby/living area has an eclectic library of books, stereo, and indoor board games.
The wrap around deck has a gas BBQ, porch swings, hammocks, plenty of table space, horse shoe pit just below, and star gazing deck above. A two-story wooden cottage up on the hill, the Cabana features one double bedroom with private deck and outside shower upstairs. Kitchen bath and living area with two twin daybeds. The decks have picnic tables, BBQ, hammocks, fresh breezes and views.Nestled in the garden, our cozy one-room casita has a queen bed, twin sleeping loft, its own kitchenette and private deck. Shared bathroom and hot showers are down a short walkway.
Dining at La Finca Caribe
Most of our guests prefer to take advantage of our large fully-equipped guest house kitchen (also a kitchen in the Family Cabana and a kitchenette in the Casita), and even the gas barbeque grille on the back deck. However, the world-renowned Chez Shackis only 300 yards down the road. All of Vieques other restaurants are only 5-15 minutes away by car.

Cancellation PolicyIf we receive cancellation notice at least 14 days prior to your arrival date (3 months notice required for group reservation), we will refund your deposit except for the first night's stay. Your non-refundable first night's stay deposit will be credited to you on you next stay at La Finca (one year maximum). However, if cancellation is received less than 14 days before yourarrival, we'll only refund your 50% deposit (minus the first night's stay) if we can re-book the room(s). - Rates do not include 9% Puerto Rico room tax.
