Imagine your favorite summer camp married to a tropical island. Swiss Family Robinson. Gilligan’s island. Finca means “a place in the country”. It’s our family’s rather funky, beautiful Caribbean finca & home we share with friends and other eco-minded travelers. 
Our towels don't match. The rooms have no phone or television. The finca is for people who like to go barefoot and take showers outdoors. We like it simple. All of our rooms have cotton sheets, a good reading lamp, fans, mosquito nets, “La finca is a place to make friends…the good karma choice of the island” After a day of diving, snorkeling, or exploring Vieques' truly world class beaches, our guests can hang out at the pool and meet fellow travelers from around the world, or sneak off to doze in one of the hammocks serenaded by the tropical frogs.
It's the relaxed and offbeat atmosphere of la finca that keeps our guests coming back year after year. In addition to the pool, La Finca offers volleyball, horseshoes, croquet, limitless walks in the hills, and a great place for biking and running. We can also help you find tours of Vieques' outstanding bioluminescent bay, diving and sailing charters, on-site massage, sea kayaking, and mountain biking.
There are all kinds of ways to stay at the finca, depending on the size of your group. From single rooms to the entire finca there are a lot of options to choose from. Acommodations at La Finca Caribe
The Main HouseOur big main house has six bedrooms, two shared bathrooms, a large virtually open air well equipped kitchen. The wrap around deck has porch swings, hammocks, plenty of table space, and star gazing deck above, with our beautiful outside hot water showers and an additional bathroom down the walkway. The lobby/living area has an eclectic library of books, stereo, and indoor board games. 
Casa Nueva & CabanitaLa finca’s newest addition with the highest viewpoint on the property. The balcony off the main bedroom offers a gift of undisturbed views everywhere; overlooking flamboyant trees and the Caribbean to the south. The house sleeps up to four comfortably with two private outdoor showers, a bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and two daybeds in a large open living room downstairs. The kitchen opens out onto the outside dining area and a second bathroom. Larger families can rent Casa Nueva along with the Cabanita, our one-roomed cabin, just off the patio.
Casita Nestled in the garden, our cozy one-room casita has a queen bed, its own kitchenette and private deck. Shared bathroom and hot showers are down a short walkway.
Family Cabana: Our two-story wooden cottage sits up on the hill overlooking the pool and the Caribbean. With unvarnished woods, the Cabana features a comfortable living area with private deck on the first floor, a daybed, full-size kitchen and bathroom. Bedrooms are upstairs, with a queen bed in one room and two twin beds in the other. The deck has a picnic table, BBQ, hammock, fresh breezes and an ocean view. Most of our guests prefer to take advantage of our large fully-equipped guest house kitchen (also a kitchen in the Family Cabana and a kitchenette in the Casita), and even the gas barbeque grille on the back deck. However, the world-renowned Chez Shackis only 300 yards down the road. All of Vieques other restaurants are only 5-15 minutes away by car.
