...seems untouched by the tourism bug and hope it stays that way

We loved Vieques because it has charm, mystique, beauty, serenity, flavor, hospitality, and seems untouched by the tourism bug and hope it stays that way as we will return because there is so much to see on this small island

Favorite beach in Vieques?: we only saw about half (sun bay, blue beach, red beach, green beach, garcia beach, punta arenas, media luna and navio) and they are all great and suggest you see as many as you can because they're all different. I liked Navio because of the big waves. My wife liked Red beach, very tranquil

Which was your favorite restaurant(s) on the island?: hands down UVA'S


Where did you stay? Martineau Bay,a very nice place with great people, food, and service, also in a great centralized location. Great accommodations, we hope it doesn't change,

Any negative experiences on the island?: swarming termites while eating dinner in open air restaurant
