I Will Be Back!!!!!!

My wife and I went to Esperanza, Vieques with some friends to vacation for a few days and also to continue a celebration of our 21st Wedding Anniversary.

We stayed at the Casa Alta Vista Guesthouse and I have only one thing to say about that place. EXCELLENT!!!!!

The owner, Mark, and his staff were outstanding!!!!

They made sure that they told us everything they could to help us have a great stay. They gave us maps, told us what beaches were best for snorkeling and swimming, some area attractions, what restaurants were available and what they serve (Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner). They also booked our cabs for us when we needed them and made reservations for the bio-bay tour for us. The guesthouse has one rental vehicle that we knew nothing about and Mark told us about it and so we did not have to worry about going anywhere looking for a rental. We rented that one at a reasonable and competive rate of $60 a day. The rooms are newly renovated and look GREAT!
The tile work is very nice. There is a balcony or porch area on the 2nd floor with chairs and rockers and it's covered and there is a sun deck on top off the guesthouse that has tables, chairs and umbrellas. What a beautiful view!!! We spent 3 hours of our first night on the upper deck having drinks and taking pictures of the bay and sunset.

Mark is unbelievably helpful and friendly!!! He and his staff made for certain that our stay was so nice that we would only want to come back to visit his guesthouse when we return. Mark even said, upon our check out, that "we are now part of the family".

Thanks for a great 3 day weekend in Vieques, Mark. We all will definately remember you, your staff and Casa Alta Vista Guesthouse and we will be back, SOON!
