Review of your experience: We had our wedding at Evamer in January of 2006. It was the perfect location for the laid-back, intimate destination wedding we were hoping for. We rented the whole property for our family for a weekend. We, the bride and groom, stayed in El Cottage which was perfect, and all the guests enjoyed their accomodations at Evamer as well. Marc is a gracious host and helped to transform Evamer into a wedding venue for us! The grounds are colorful and picturesque, with native plantings and coconut palms. There is an infinity pool overlooking the ocean and an outdoor bar on the pool deck...  We had 30ish guests and a catered dinner outdoors. Tropical Baby, the best restaurant in Isabel Segunda provided the food and the tables/chairs.

We will certainly be back to Vieques and to Evamer. I would recommend this place to couples, friends or small groups who want a bit of extra privacy on little Vieques Island.

Review of your experience: The missus and I went to Vieques on our anniversary - Evamer is great because of its location, the privacy it offers and the nice folks who work there. While planning our trip, I saw a bad review by some tourist who must have stayed at EvaMer. We ignored it and would advise you to do so too. Marc is a great guy - he took good care of us and was definitely available to take care of our needs. We would love to stay at Evamer again and would recommend anyone to stay there. I hope to see Marc and Evamer soon!

Review of your experience: To be honest, I don't really want to tell you this, but if you get a chance, stay at Evamer. My wife and I went for our honeymoon and stayed in El Cottage (and MiraFlor). We were suppose to stay for 7 days, but ended up staying 12. We truly had the best time. Evamer is on the north coast of Vieques and overlooks the ocean. The beach directly in front of the villas is a great place to go snorkeling. Both El Cottage and MiraFlor had everything that we needed, and we hated to leave.

Evamer was exactly what we were looking for, but it's not for everyone. If you want room service, cabana boys, umbrellas on the beach, or those spa type "pampering" extras, then Evamer (or Vieques as a whole) is not for you. But if you want genuine hospitality from the owners, the property manager, the grounds crew, and even Tinka and Rocco (the owner's dogs), then stay at Evamer. If you want a great cottage (or studio) with a fantastic view, privacy to do what YOU want or guidance to help you find your next adventure, and more than enough of nothing to do, so that you can actually relax, then Evamer is for you.

Again, I wanted to keep this place a secret, but now that you know, enjoy your stay. Maybe we'll see you there.

Review of  experience: Evamer Villas gives you comfortable, quality lodging on a lovely little beach; beautiful grounds with breathtaking views and a laid-back feel; and a convenient location. We just happened across their website and were thrilled to discover that they painted an extremely accurate picture of their facility -- which isn't always the case. We're hoping to return to Vieques soon and won't bother to take a look at other properties. Evamer IS our Vieques home.
