The Coral Cottage, a small island house, sits on a hill in the Bravos de Boston beachside neighborhood of Vieques Island. It has great views and you can hear the sounds of the rolling surf and the rustle of the palm trees. The historic lighthouse, fisherman’s neighborhood, and the main island of Puerto Rico are viewed from the house. Just a short walk and you are at the beach where you can take a stroll or do some great snorkeling. It is also within walking distance to Palms Poolside Restaurant at the BRAVO Hotel.

Our guests can watch the ferries arrive and depart from the Vieques town pier, see the fishing boats leave, enjoy fabulous sunsets and listen to the sounds of the waves and the rustling of the palm trees. Some of the best beaches and snorkeling spots in Vieques, Puerto Rico are in this part of the island. When the wind and wave conditions are right, local kids spend from dawn until dark surfing off the local beaches.

Vieques Island horses meander and graze along the beach road. Resident snowy egrets hang out and hummingbirds whiz by. There are banana trees, mangos, papayas, and lots of coconuts. Ginger, hibiscus, bougainvillea, haliconia, and frangipani abound.

A scenic beach road winds up hill and down past gardens full of tropical flowers, interesting local and historic architecture and designer houses. There are horses and chickens and birds and butterflies and all the other flora and fauna that make the island so special.

The Coral Cottage sits on a large fenced lot with a pull-in for off-street parking. You will enjoy a variety of tropical native plantings which include palm trees, bananas, pomegranates, acerola cherries, loquats, parcha fruit and more.

The Coral Cottage is decorated in a colorful, relaxed, whimsical island style. The beach furniture is comfortable with some rattan, bamboo and wicker in each. The Coral Cottage is well equipped to allow our guests to travel to the beautiful island of Vieques with a minimum of clothing, supplies and equipment.

Guest Rooms at Coral Cottage Rental

One bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a small dresser and a place to hang your clothes. The second bedroom has two twin beds which can be converted to a king upon request. Both bedrooms have air conditioning for your sleeping comfort. The cheery yellow-tiled bathroom has a large step in shower.

The Cottage consists of an open living/kitchen area with two bedrooms and one bathroom. There is a great outdoor dining area on the covered patio. The house has recently been renovated and redecorated and is open and airy with all rooms having great views of the charming neighborhood and the water.

The Cottage offers a small secure balcony on the front of the house. A large covered patio recently added off the kitchen contains the new washer, dryer, outdoor sink and outdoor shower, in addition to the dining area.

The Coral Cottage features:

• Fully equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker, juicer, toaster, dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots and pans, and bar equipment. Kitchen is stocked with basic pantry items, cleaning supplies and paper products.

Outdoor Living at the Coral Cottage includes deck chairs and tables, and a gas grill.

Indoor Living at the Coral Cottage Vacation Rental include:

Coral Cottage Weekly Rental Rates

Shorter stays are prorated on a nightly basis with a 3 night minimum.
Prices are subject to change without notice. A 50% deposit is required
upon booking. Final payment is required no less than 60 days
prior to arrival date. We accept Visa, Mastercard, or personal check.

After full payment has been received there will be no refund for cancellation
unless another rental can be secured to replace the cancelled dates.
