Colina de Brisas

Unbiased Reviews - Vieques Island, Puerto Rico

Did you stay at Colina de Brisas - Please write a review

Title of your review: This was a fabulous house located in the Mambiche area of Vieques. It sits way up on a hill overlooking the ocean, and wonderful views of PR. It sleeps 6 and there was plenty of living space. All of the appliances worked nicely and we cooked a few times. The house was clean and very well maintained. The water pressure was a bit too low for my liking, but it's pretty much like this all over the island. One of the beds in the larger room was a bit too soft, however the bed in the master(lavendar) room was very comfy. It also had a master bath . And there's another bathroom as well. There is no room service because it's a private home. The property manager and the owner were easy to get a hold of. Oh, it's a bit noisy at times due to the roaming roosters who seemed to be confused whether it was day or night time!
Overall rating of accommodation: 5 Stars (Best)
Overall Service: Great
Overall Dining Experience: Excellent Would you choose to stay there again?: Yes Review of your experience: Great island. This was our first time there. And we're thinking of going back to see some realestate. The beaches are incredible. The water is warm and it's great for snorkeling. This is a very gay friendly island and there are gay people buying land and owning buisnesses all over it. The food is amazing but the service is a bit slow. But that's ok. You'll want to savor every minute there. It's a low key place to vacation. I strongly suggest renting a vehicle. If you're the adventurous type you'll need one to scope out all the awesome beaches. The people of Vieques are warm and welcoming. And if you can speak any Spanish at all you're ahead of the game!
