Casa Tucepi

by Gayle Morgan
(Dallas, Texas USA)

The home was just as it was pictured, but much better in person. The kitchen was well appointed. The caretaker, Linda, was very helpful and left good instructions on taking care of the house and what was available to us. We loved Vieques and only wished that we would have gotten to stay longer. The view from the porches was beautiful and we loved having the pool to relax in at the end of the day, or to soothe a sunburn.
We apparently stayed during a hot part of the year, because we slept a little warm. There was no air conditioning. It was fine during the day, but some evenings were warm for sleeping. There were three couples on our trip and this house was perfect for us with the three bathrooms and three bedrooms. It gave each of us our own space. There was a washer and dryer which was a big plus also. There were ice chests, inner tubes, mats and beach chairs available to us, but because of the car rental situation there, we didn't get to use them. The art around the house was very appealing and done by the owner's wife. I would definitely go there again. If you want privacy and beauty, this is the place to be!
