Which is your favorite beach in Vieques?: Media Luna. Totally secluded, amazing sand, crystal clear water: a dream paradise!

Which was your favorite restaurant(s) on the island?: Bananas in Esperanza

Where did you stay? We stayed at Casa Alta Vista. The entire staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We hadn't rented a car and the owner offered to give our family of four a ride to the beach. We're so glad he did, it turned out to be Media Luna, our favorite beach.

Was this your first time in Vieques?: Yes

Would you visit again?: Maybe

Any negative experiences on the island?: Our only regret is that we didn't eat more local delicacies. In Esperanza with two young children and no car, we could only eat at the very local restaurants. Our kids ate tons of french fries but no rice and beans, no plaintains, no amazing fresh tropical fruits. If I did it again I would get a car to seek out those foods.
